Awesome Terminator Salvation helmet I saw at Canadian Tire. <3 I want it!
(Yes, I know it kinda looks like Dr. Doom) :P
Interesting blog. One question, do you watch a lot of tv? Or anime?

I watch a lot of TV shows. But not so much anime. The most anime I say I can watch would be my fave childhood TV shows (Sailor Moon) lol
The Avengers (not so reviewed)
For anyone who lives under a rock and has not been in-the-know, the long anticipated new Marvel comics film installment “The Avengers” hit theatres a couple weeks ago.
I decided to wait a bit and I’m glad I did… it’s been sold out at our theatre the whole first week.
Most people were worried that having such a big all-star cast and such big personalities on the screen at once would be a disaster; I thought the same thing. I also thought that there was potential to be uninteresting by not tying the characters together and having bad back-stories. (Loki being the villain/Thor’s brother, what does he have to do with the rest of the group?)
There was a sense of nostalgia that hit me when The Hulk first appeared on the screen. Growing up, it was The Hulk comics and cartoons for me. I loved him! And I love him in this movie all over again!
The director (Joss Whedon) did a phenomenal job at truly molding everything together and creating this epic film.
The only criticism I have is that some of the jokes/dialogue seemed forced but no one can be perfect!
I really don’t want to get into the storyline, because it’s much better if you get into it yourself. The best things about this movie can be listed as:
-The storyline (Loki is a very troubled man and a wicked villain)
-The comedy (Many, Many MANY laughs to be had, excluding a few flubs)
-The hottness that is every-single actor in this movie! (Robert Downy Jr. =YUM!)
-The Hulk… he is in his own category, Mark Ruffalo did an amazing job and most of the Hulk’s scenes were the funniest. SMASH!
-The visuals. (My jaw couldn’t stay shut; I was in awe the whole time at the fight scenes and special FX)
Overall, this is a MUST SEE if you haven’t seen it yet. I know this isn’t a review so much as it is telling you how much I loved it, but I seriously can’t say a lot of bad things about this film.

It’s Chuck’s birthday very soon and I want to get him a great gift. However; money is incredibly tight at the moment, so I felt like I was in a bit of a pickle.
I think I have been inspired with the best and most creative/”romantic” idea EVER, which is hopefully going to amaze him.
I can’t wait to get everything for this :)

Watching “The Virgin Suicides” for the first time ever… what a great film.
Just some summer pictures.
LONG WEEKEND!!
The Victoria Day long weekend is over.
I think we spent it in the most perfect way possible. Walks in James Park, Throwing the football around and getting some color from the sun. Most importantly it was spent with amazing people and amazing BBQ’d dinners/beers.
I’m spending a nice relaxing night in bed watching “Run Fatboy Run” and listening to the loud crackles and bangs from the fireworks around the area.
Amazing weekend, perfect ending :)
